George Harold
Harrison: February 25, 1943. Liverpool.
Georges' first project as a solo was the release of a
three-album set. The 1970 set reached number on in America and Britain
and a year later he released his next project 'Concert for Bangla Desh',
featuring Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and many other greats. In 1974 he embarked
on a tour of North America and he was heavily criticised by the press and
this lead to George refusing to commit himself to touring again. Over his
recording carear he produced several well-written albums but they failed
commercially.
