The Studio Years
In the studio the Beatles had a greater scope to express themselves musically. This lead to more meanigful songs. The Beatles aimed to create songs that lasted longer and this lead to the creation of 'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'. The album was released on June 1, 1967 and was one of the worlds greatest albums ever with classic tracks like 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'.

The 'Magical Mystery Tour' followed the successful 'Sgt. Peppers' on September 11, 1967. This album also featured great classical songs like 'Strawberry Fields Forever', 'Penny Lane', 'Magical Mystery Tour', 'All You Need is Love' and many more.

The next album was another hugh success. 'Yellow Submarine' was released on January 17, 1969 and it was a very different kind of album. The album contained four real songs: 'Yellow Submarine', 'Hey Bulldog', 'Only a Northern Song' and 'Its All To Much'. The rest of the songs on the album are all very Indian and don't really ap[peal to a lot of people.
